FAQ

What is MyPick'Em?
MyPick'Em is a Pick'Em game for Counter-Strike fans. Predict outcomes for free and compete for prizes. All it takes is logging via Steam's API - no account details needed, it's safe!
How do I play?
To play there has to be an upcoming Counter-Strike event with open Pick'Ems. Head over to https://mypickem.io/pickems Pick'Ems and pick the game you want to play. Then make your Pick'Em and make sure to also fill out the bracket. Both correct Pick'Ems and bracket predictions will earn you points, based on which the winners will be decided once the tournament is over.
Do I need to fill out the bracket to play?
You don’t have to do it, but it delivers a good deal of points. So if you want to compete for prizes, you’re advised to fill out all fields. No fines for mistakes!
In some events, Pick’Em duplicates bracket outcome. For example, you can predict a winner of the event in the playoffs bracket and Pick’Em. What’s the point?
Sometimes, while completing your Pick’Ems and brackets, you will put the same team for the same result in both parts. But they serve slightly different purpose.
One example is if there are two teams getting eliminated at 7-8th place and you’re offered to predict only one of the two in a Pick’Em, you can choose which of the two you placed in the bracket is more likely to be eliminated. Or, in a different case, you can deliberately put two different teams as the event winner in the bracket and Pick’Em to get a higher chance of guessing at least one of the two right. Wether you should use this strategy is up to you!
How to receive the prizes?
The available prizes are outlined on the main page of each prediction game. If you finished at one of the top spots claiming the prize, you need to make sure you have your trade link added in your profile. Within two weeks after the event finishes we will send you your prize!
I have the same amount of points as a different user but I’m placed lower. Why?
We have a tie-breaking system. First, it separates people based on how many high-price points they earned. For example, in an otherwise same performance, a player who earned 1000 points for one correct pick will be placed higher than a player who earned 500 points twice for two correct picks. If the tie remains, the user who submitted the team earlier wins. One reason to not be late!
